Invoice Creation - File - Hold

Use this option to hold an invoice for updating, editing, and/or printing at a later time. The debtor is not updated; stock is put on hold.

2.8 Feature

This option is only enabled for orders that have not been posted.

To hold an order:

  1. Process the invoice to completion stage.

Refer to "Sales - Invoice Creation" for the steps involved.

  1. Select FILE | HOLD.

Micronet saves the order and redisplays the Invoice Creation screen. Your last five transaction numbers (including the held invoice number) are displayed at the bottom left of the main Micronet screen.

You can retrieve the held order at a later time as a held invoice (refer to "Invoice Creation - File - Load - Load Held Invoice").
